Technologie Kring June 2018

The first seminar of 2018 of the Technologie Kring about ‘Raw materials and stock preparation’ this week, with a clear international character, was a great success! About 80 participants made this possible. There were a lot of qualitative good masterclasses, an interesting in-depth workshop (follow up), a small technology market and not to forget; a perfect ambiance to exchange experiences one on one. There were enough possibilities for informal networking. Besides the in-depth papertechnology issues, there was also attention for the young talent group. They won the Technology Kring Award! Hope to see you at our next seminar in November 14^th and 15^th.

Successful November edition 2017

The seminar of the Technologie Kring about paper machine developments and the product itself last week, with a clear international character, was a great success again!! About 85 participants made this possible. There were a lot of qualitative good presentations, an interesting in-depth workshop with follow up, a small technology market and not to forget; a perfect ambiance to exchange experiences one on one.Good to see that there were also several young technologists. The Technology Circle Award was won by Peter Gerards of Smurfit Kappa, congratulations! The informal evening was cozy and the new seminar room was very well liked. The ability to look outside was greatly appreciated.

Record number of participants November Seminar

The seminar of the Technologie Kring last week, with a clear international character, was a great success again!! More than 90 participants made this possible, a real record. There were a lot of qualitative good presentations, an in-depth workshop with follow up (modern whitewater treatment with polymers/coagulants), a small technology market and not to forget; a perfect ambiance to exchange experiences one on one. The Technology Circle Award was won by Ferry Zuijderwijk of IGT Testing Systems. The informal evening was cozy and the new location was very well liked.

We hope that the knowledge gained, inspirations and relationships bring you further into your business. We also hope that we can rely on you again at the next edition. Ideas are very welcome! The presentations of the November seminar will appear next week on our website www.technologiekring.nl.

Technologie Kring June 2016 great success!!

The seminar of the Technologie Kring of last week, with a clear international character, was a great success again!! Almost 80 participants made this possible. Thank you very much for your contribution!! There were a lot of qualitative good presentations, an in-depth workshop with follow up, a small technology market and not to forget; a perfect ambiance to exchange experiences one on one. The Technology Circle Award was won by Monica Lopez Lorenzo of Teijin Aramid, our new member. Joop Willemsen was named honorary teacher of VAPA, congratulations!! We also welcomed Kemira as a new sponsor. The informal evening was spiced by the wrap up boil out workshops/master classes, the draw of the raffle of Aikawa Fiber Technologies, a delicious barbecue and an English pub quiz .We hope that the knowledge gained, inspirations and relationships bring you further into your business. We also hope that we can rely on you again at the next edition. Ideas are very welcome!

VAPA and Millvision won the TK Award!!

The seminar of the Technologie Kring in November, with a clear international character, was a great success again!! More than 80 participants made this possible. There were a lot of qualitative good presentations in the masterclasses, an in-depth workshop with follow up, a small technology market and not to forget; a perfect ambiance to exchange experiences one on one.

It was also very special that the organization team of the Technologiekring Award 2015 won itself; the collaboration Vapa & Millvision. The prize was awarded by the jury, chaired by Mat Maessen of Smurfit Kappa PPT. We hope that the knowledge gained, inspirations and relationships bring you further into your business. 

We wish you already a merry Christmas and a happy New Year!! We hope that in 2016 we make an interesting year again. The data of the seminars of 2016 are 22-23 June en 16-17 November!! 

Seminar Technologie Kring June 2015 succesful!

We had a good meeting with about 18 presentations, almost 80 participants, 2 telsell moments and 3 workshops related to the future of alternative fibers, Introduction practical dirt count and improvement of cleanliness of paper and Pre-engineering of technology inspection of system volume reduction. And that all in a first class accommodation.We created an open atmosphere for in-depth discussions.

During the seminar days and after a short evaluation, we noticed that the participants have made new contacts, got inspiration and will bring new ideas to their mills or businesses.
Also the social program during the barbecue and evening was a success. The weather gods were favourable. Mr. Jan-Cees Tiecken from Teijin Aramid BV won the Technologiekring Award June 2015.

Technologie Kring

During a meeting in January (program committee) and the seminars in June and November the Technologiekring brings technologists and managers of the Dutch and Belgium paper and board industry together in the region of Apeldoorn; the heart of the Dutch paper and board sector.

With a divers program of presentations, in-depth lectures of professors and specialists, master classes, workshops and an inspiring evening program, the seminars of the Technologiekring have become an integral part of the Dutch and Belgium paper and board industry. Visited by 70-80 participants, the seminars have grown to an event were knowledge is shared and business opportunities are explored within international context. With good reason this event is known as THE event of paper technologists.
The date of the seminars are always tuned with other seminars in the industry organized by VNP, KCPK, WUR, etc. 

Review at successful seminar 19 & 20 November 2014

The November 2014 seminar of the Technologiekring was very inspiring. We created an open atmosphere for in-dept discussions.

We had a good meeting with about 17 presentations, almost 70 participants, 3 tellsell moments and 1 workshop related to e- and blended learning. And that all in a first class accommodation.

During the seminar days and after a short evaluation, we noticed that the participants have made new contacts, got inspiration and will bring new ideas to their mills or businesses.

Also the social innovation and the band “The Bottles” during the diner was a success. Mr. Rene Kort from Schut Papier won the Technologiekring Award November 2014.

We hope to see you on the next seminars in June and November 2015!

Seminar Technologie Kring June 2014 again succesful!

We had a good meeting with 22 presentations, almost 80 participants (between 24 and 84 years young) and 1 tellsell moment.

During the seminar day’s and after a short evaluation we noticed that the participants have made new contacts, got inspiration and new ideas for business.

Also the social innovation and the orange paper quiz during the barbeque was a success. Mr. Dries Nelemans from Inven Technology Benelux won the Technologiekring Award 2014.
