Nearly 100 participants were gathered in the paper technology learning community!
Leon Joore opened the new concept of the Business Market. The Technology Market was an integral part of the seminar and there was plenty of time for one-to-one contact. It created more traffic in the breaks as the market took place in the ‘break-networking area’. The market was assessed as very positive and enriching.
Very nice and interactive presentations and discussions led to new ideas. These in turn can be tested for feasibility and impact. Dr Jos Phillipaerts of Solenis (in cooperation with Valmet) and Gert van beek of Coldenhove won the Technology Kring award. For both technological and social innovation and need. Jos presented a new chemistry concept based on foam, Gert engaged participants with a challenge from the paper mill on refining. Only when we make matters open for discussion can we start working on them together with our innovation partners.
The beautiful weather and the barbecue during the informal evening program completed it all!
